
Macromedia Volume Licensing
Programme (MVLP)
Overview:
MVLP is a points-based
volume licensing program for Corporate and Government
customers. Volume discounts for a 2 year period are
based on the initial point total. The program is divided
into the Base Volume License Option (BVLO) and High
Volume License Option (HVLO).
Agreement Terms:
A customer can continue
to purchase at the initial point entry level for two
years from the initial order date.
Requirements:
Base Volume License
Option: The transactional program provides an entry
point of 10 points for small businesses.
High Volume License
Option: Enterprise customers have an entry level of
100 points. The Worldwide program enables multi-national
customers to purchase at one discount level rather than
qualifying locally. Affiliates can be enrolled.
A contract is not
required and there is a re-order requirement of only
one point.

Eligibility:
Available to all corporate
and government customers. The BVLO is intended for smaller,
regional volume customers. The HVLO is intended for
mid- to enterprise level customers.
Maintenance &
Upgrades:
Optional software
subscription entitles the customer to free version upgrades,
updates and bug fixes during the 2 year active subscription
period. The subscription must be purchased at point
of sale.
Technical support
is available at 3 levels and includes phone or email
incidents and quick response times:
Bronze:
Five telephone or
e-mail incidents at a discount. (Unused incidents expire
one year from the date of purchase)
Follow-up support
at no additional cost until the incident is resolved
Four hour response
time for telephone incidents
Not available on server
products.
Silver:
Unlimited telephone
or e-mail incidents for one year
Four hour response
time for telephone incidents.
Gold:
Unlimited telephone
or e-mail incidents for one year
Two hour response
time for telephone incidents
Two authorised contact
people, limited to support on one product
Direct access to senior
product support engineers.
Installation:
Initial media kit
shipped free of charge with first order. License certificate
sent directly to end user from Macromedia. Additional
media kits can be ordered for a nominal fee.
